Psalm-Skinned, Opal-Eyed

Posted on July 11, 2018August 16, 2018 by The White Guar

By Quickchangeartist (or “Acolyte Meiya” for this one) The title of Vimer/Vimeri goes to those certain devotees of Vivec whose bodies are altered through prayer, in emulation of the Warrior-Poet’s androgyny, and in the trading of their lives for their body’s sacred alteration to alleviate the soul-pain of an ill-fitting birth sex. Living together in communal compounds, these mysterious Vehk cults are rumoured to have been born of forgotten Mephalan splinter groups, though no one knows for certain. In this story, a Vimeri acolyte shares an account of a physically- and emotionally-intensive channelling ritual, drawing down a visceral, primal fragment of the divine to share and reinforce their adoration through sex, fear, delirium and drugs.
